What is who flew too close to the sun?

In Greek mythology, Icarus is the famous character who flew too close to the sun with his father Daedalus who constructed wings made of wax and feathers to escape from the island of Crete. Despite his father's warning, Icarus became overconfident and flew too close to the sun which melted the wax on his wings causing him to fall into the sea and drown. The story of Icarus is often seen as a cautionary tale about the dangers of hubris and overreaching.
